Dan Kennedy And Direct Response Marketing
Dan Kennedy and Direct Response Marketing are synonymous: To think of one, is to think of the other. I have recently discovered Dan Kennedy’s books and that of his student and now business partner; Bill Glazer. I have read two, and now busy with my third, and I can’t put them down.
An online search lead me to GKIC – the company they formed together. (Glazer Kennedy Insiders Circle) They have a product called Magnetic Marketing, and as a marketer sold on Direct Response Marketing, I can tell you that it would really help you with your marketing and advertising. You will learn how to not be just a business owner, but an entrepreneur. You will learn how to make money at will.
What is Direct Response Marketing?
“Direct response marketing is a type of marketing that elicits a specific, measured response resulting from a consumer’s direct response to a marketer. Direct response marketing facilitates the delivery of a call to action and outcome via direct or online interaction for immediate feedback and response.” (definition by techopedia)
“Normal” marketing is never measured. It is judged on how good it looks, how witty it is or whether it will win awards. Small business owners haven’t got the money for this. Besides, your marketing should be held accountable for every dollar you’ve spent.

The next book you need to read if you want to get great results with your advertising, is Bill Glazer’s book, Outrageous Advertising. You will get great ideas and examples of advertising that works. All three these books that I’ve read underscores the fact that Direct Response marketing is done with a combination of online and offline marketing.
The book I’m currently reading is The Ultimate Sales Letter. I hope to be a brilliant copywriter when I finish the book 🙂
